Welcome to the 1st Satellite Event of the European South Atlantic Biophysics (ESAB) Congress 2026, jointly organized by the French, Portuguese, and Spanish Young Biophysical Societies.
This one-day event will take place in Montpellier, France, on June 16 and provides young scientists with a dynamic platform to present their research, exchange ideas, and build lasting professional connections.
Beyond the scientific program, this initiative embodies the shared spirit of the three organizing societies: vibrant, youth-driven communities committed to empowering early-career researchers. We promote fresh perspectives, inclusive environments, and innovative formats that highlight and amplify the voices of the next generation of biophysicists.

The scientific program will provide early-career researchers with a dedicated platform to present their work through oral presentations, alongside keynote lectures covering a broad range of topics related to biophysics.
A round-table discussion will foster productive dialogue with experienced professionals on core competencies, transferable skills, and career perspectives in the field.
In addition, the social event will support the creation of professional connections, encouraging interaction and network building within the biophysics community.

To register, please mark your attendance to our Satellite Event in the ESAB congress registration page. On this page, you will find both the inscription form and the abstract submission form.

The ESAB Congress will offer 40 scholarships for young researchers, which will fully cover the congress registration fees.
To apply, submit a one-page CV and a one-page motivation letter (combined into a single PDF file) to youthesab2026@gmail.com. The final selection date for youth funding will be March 31, 2026.
